Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Maysara mobile application for iPhone (“Maysara” or the “app”), published by the developer of Maysara (“we,” “us”). “You” means the person using the app.

By downloading, opening, or subscribing to Maysara, you agree to these Terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of majority in your state if that is higher, to use Maysara or buy a subscription.

Maysara is distributed through the US App Store, and its tax and payroll estimates are built around US rules.

Maysara is licensed, not sold, for your use on Apple devices that you own or control. Your license is subject to Apple’s Standard EULA, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

Apple is a third-party beneficiary of the Standard EULA and may enforce it. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or any warranty for Maysara. These Terms supplement the Standard EULA; if the two conflict about the license itself, the Standard EULA controls.

New users get a fourteen (14) day free trial. The trial runs entirely on your device: we never ask for a payment method to start it, and when it ends there is no automatic charge — the app simply asks you to subscribe. Your numbers stay on your phone either way.

Maysara Plus is a paid auto-renewing subscription, currently $29.99 per year or $3.99 per month (prices may change; the App Store listing controls). Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least twenty-four (24) hours before the current period ends. Apple charges the renewal within the twenty-four (24) hours before the period ends.

You manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings (the app’s Settings has a “Manage subscription” shortcut). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. If we change a price, we will give whatever notice Apple and applicable law require.

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple and are subject to Apple’s policies — you can ask at reportaproblem.apple.com or through your App Store account.

We cannot issue App Store refunds directly. If something looks wrong with billing, email support@maysara.app and we will help where we reasonably can.

Maysara is a personal money-management and organization tool provided for informational purposes only. Nothing in the app is financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and using it does not create an advisory, fiduciary, or professional relationship between you and us.

We are not a bank, credit union, money transmitter, lender, broker-dealer, investment adviser, or tax preparer. Maysara does not hold, move, or have access to your funds.

“Safe to Spend” and similar figures are estimates calculated from information you enter. If your inputs are incomplete or out of date, the numbers will be too. They are not a promise that spending any amount is appropriate or safe. You alone are responsible for your financial decisions.

Tax and payroll figures in the app are estimates, versioned by tax year where applicable, and are not tax advice. Confirm important figures with a qualified professional before relying on them.

Maysara is local-first: your financial records are stored on your device. iCloud sync is on by default and can be turned off in Settings; synced copies live in your own iCloud account, which we cannot read. We do not ask for your bank login credentials, and we do not sell your transaction data.

There is no Maysara account, so there is nothing of yours on our servers to delete. You can export your data as CSV files at any time, including after you cancel or your trial ends. Our Privacy Policy at /privacy describes how information is handled and forms part of this agreement.

You may use Maysara for lawful personal or small-business financial tracking. You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except where the law permits it; (b) resell, redistribute, or sublicense the app; or (c) use the app to break any law or infringe anyone’s rights.

If you violate these Terms, the license above ends. Because Maysara has no accounts, there is no account to suspend — termination simply means your right to use the app under these Terms stops.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maysara is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory — including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that its calculations will be complete or accurate.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under the laws of your state of residence.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of Maysara — whatever the legal theory, even if we have been advised such damages were possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the app will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Maysara in the twelve (12) months immediately before the claim, or (b) US$50.

The disclaimers, liability limits, and governing-law provisions survive termination of these Terms or your use of the app.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will provide reasonable notice in the app.

If you continue using Maysara after updated Terms take effect, that constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.

You may stop using Maysara at any time by canceling any subscription in your App Store account settings and deleting the app. Your local data remains on your device — and remains exportable — until you remove it.

Because Maysara is local-first, we hold no server copy of your ledger. If you used iCloud sync, synced copies are removed according to Apple’s iCloud retention practices once you turn sync off and delete the app.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America and the laws of the state in which the developer of Maysara maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Except where prohibited by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the app will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the United States, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your state of residence.
